What are the different types of scaffolding parts?

Standard - A standard scaffolding tube sets the weight of the load. To create a scaffolding, it requires the following scaffolding parts, two pairs of levels, one of which should be close to the building and is often referred to as an internal level. The next standard was to be set opposite for the internal scaffold and is often referred to as the external level of the scaffolding. The width and length of the measurements for each dimension can vary depending on the type of scaffold you need.

Ledger - A horizontal scaffold tube that stretches from the norm to the standard provides the bases for transoms and makes connections between levels. Using long tubes, the ledgers are moved horizontally between each level in the length of the scaffold and this provides additional weight distribution and structural support. Each harbor is lined with ledges at the front and back of the frame. The availability of a ladder determines the height of the operating platform can be included in the very first row of ladders near the ground sometimes called the 'kicker lift'.

Transom - It is a limited scaffold component that provides support to platform units and is supported by at least two ledgers or is attached directly to at least two small levels. Transoms tubes are scaffolding objects mounted on each shore above the right-hand ledger running from the back to the front of the building to indicate the width of the bay. The large transom provides standard support by keeping them in place as well as providing board support. Intermediate transoms are also used for additional support of the boards and these should be located at a distance of 1.2m across the port.

Coupler - This is a component that is used to secure scaffold tubes together. The coupler is what binds the tubes together and there are many different types with different uses. Standard angle couplers are often used to connect levels, ledgers, and transoms together and you can use one or two couplers to achieve this. Swivel and double couplers should be used for binding. While single couplers should not be used for this and are mostly used to get transoms on ledgers as they are not an equal load.

Plank - A board that is generally made of wood and acts as a platform.

Handrail - Represents a barrier that contains pipes to withstand the fall of workers in the upper workplace.

Toe Board - It is a minimum height of 150 feet to withstand the fall of goods from the platform.

Mudsill - It is a lump of wood to distribute the load of the scaffolding

Braces - These are elements arranged diagonally to the standards. Cross braces are driven between the inner ledger and fixed to external levels using a swivel coupler to increase the strength of the frames. They can also be adjusted to the carriage in the elevators above the base outside. This brace should be added to all other ports or other sets of levels. Façade or sway brace is used to stop the frame from moving or moving. They are attached to the front surface of the building and run along the frame length in a straight line and are securely fastened across all platforms. This type of bracing should be applied to all exits as well as the first and last stops, so the space between the brakes tied is more than three ports.

Putlogs - These are transverse members, mounted on the right angle to the walls with one marker supported on the other end of the wall.

Volts - These are used to bind all parts of the platform to withstand load and to form a frame structure.

If you set up scaffolding on a public highway, road or busy construction site, where the general public or other staff gathers for the sake of their health and safety the following component parts will need to be added to your table structure:

Foam - This part of the scaffold is attached to each level to help prevent injuries when a pedestrian enters.

Scaffolding lighting - Lights are kept in a bag to alert drivers or pedestrians rather than a large building overnight or on difficult days.
